C. 1950 the original Brown Derby restaurant in Koreatown, it was razed in 1994.

Though only 238 years old, Los Angeles has witnessed the tragic destruction of vintage landmarks and landscapes instrumental in putting the city on the map. Take a trip back in time with author and historian Mary Mallory to visit famous landmarks and hidden gems revealing the rich architectural diversity of the city is angels. The fire that destroyed the Pan Pacific Auditorium on May 24th, 1989. The structure was built in 1935, and located in the Fairfax District adjacent to the Grove.
