Our May Speaker Program, LA’s Landmark Restaurants, will be presented by George Geary. If his name sounds familiar, he was our interesting and entertaining speaker in August 2022. We are pleased he will be sharing info about his newest book, LA’s Landmark Restaurants: Celebrating the Legendary Restaurants Where Angelenos Have Dined for Generations. He will share delicious stories about the restaurants we know, knew, or wish we had known.
George Geary is an award-winning chef, prolific author, and television personality. A former pastry chef for the Walt Disney Company, Geary is a Certified Culinary Professional, and was recently chosen as the Culinary Educator of the Year by the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Recently celebrating 30 years in morning television, he can be seen weekly on CBS San Diego doing food segments, WGN-TV Chicago, and Daytime on the NBC Tampa Station. He has been featured in many food magazines, travel magazines and blogs.
When not in a kitchen, he leads mouth-watering culinary tours of major cities of America and Europe. George is a best-selling author of cookbooks and books about food and restaurants. Some of his books include:
