San Fernando Valley Historical Society

Volunteer

VolunteerVolunteers are the lifeblood of the SFVHS, and we have many wonderful opportunities for you to get involved and make a difference.

You can help us build membership, identify landmarks, arrange lecturers, raise funds, organize tours, and do public relations.

We also have handyman jobs, cataloging the library and collections, creating the newsletter, handling office tasks, digitize photos, do inventories, and setting up events.

You can also become a docent and share your love of history with our many visitors and school tours. SPECIAL NOTE: Community service hours for students may be earned at either the Andres Pico Adobe or Pioneer Cemetery through the San Fernando Valley Historical Society.

Let us know! To volunteer, please send us an e-mail at sfvhs@verizon.net.
